8. Why does the plugin show a warning when switching to watcher mode while using litespeed as default webserver?

Filter mode requires mod_security for HTTP filtering to work. mod_security is not fully comapatible with Litespeed server and hence rules added in mod_security for HTTP filtering does not work. Therefore while using Litespeed as the default webserver it is recommended to use watcher mode to detect malicious file uploads.
